Yuko Takasugi

I make our vessels using a technique called Nerikomi. The motif is the windy landscape of Shonan, which is rich in nature such as the seaside and plants.

Recently, I have also used imaginary pictures as seeds for designs. I would be happy if I could add excitement and healing to your life.

1996 Began working at a pottery in Miyazaki

2001 Opened kiln in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture

2005 Graduated from Kyoto University of the Arts Ceramics Course

2006 Moved his kiln to Aya-cho, Miyazaki

2009 Relocated the kiln to Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture

2019 Relocated the kiln to Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture

Currently making pottery in Chigasaki
