This solo exhibition is being held to commemorate his award for the Ueno Matsuzakaya Prize at the NOBUKO Fund ART "The Power of Pictures and Words" exhibition. It has been 3.8 billion years since life first appeared on Earth. Yamashita Kenichiro's work seems to ask what it means to be "human" within this long chain of life.
