Chubei YAGYU
I draw and paint youkai on the Shodoshima island in the Seto Inland Sea.
I have been drawing since I was a child, wishing to meet youkai.
The painting materials are mainly those used in Japanese paintings such as traditional pigment paints, water-dried paints, and ink, but I draw with various things.
I also often draw while feeling the signs of invisible Ayakashi dwelling on the old materials (old door boards, fusuma, furniture, etc.) themselves.
In my head, there is a "Yokai manufacturing device", and when it is activated, it gives them, who are endangered species, a visual form called a picture.
In my daily life, I want to make people feel a little bit of the Yokiai feelings on their skin.
